Krydon Island

No New Posts Stutali Town and Surrounding Region

This is where the Pokemon Trainers coming to Hojanne beggin-the ships from all over arrive at the Fairy Port and drop off their passegers. Well, it looks safe, why not take a look around?

The surrounding area appears to be mostly costal farmland: rolling, green plains, though not a homestead in site. One can see a blue mountain range to the north, and if they head eastwards they will come across Makiba Town.

No New Posts Makiba Town and Coastal Route

Makiba Town is small, even in comparitson to the fairly queit Stutali. Situated near the same mountain range north of it neighbor, most of the people living here are farming folk towards the south, cultivating the land and making quite a profit by selling their wares to the nearby Rutranken to the north. This town also has a Mono-Pronged Jenerater, keeping the climate perfect for crops all year around.

If you continue easterly, you're likely to hit the coast and a way to get past the mountain range-north to Rutranken.

No New Posts Rutranken City

Rutranken is one of Hojanne's major port Cities, sat literally on the coast-half of it extends along a massive jetty over the water. Where there are not massive ships and ferrys docked, you can see water type Pokemon and their trainers swimming along the piers, having come from the beach to the south.

Rutranken still suffers form being pinned to the coast due to the mountains to the west, so the only way out is north or south, towards Makiba or along the cliffs to Alphyzer and the northern forests of Krydon.

No New Posts High Wilderness

The southern mountain range of Krydon, located north of Stutali, west of Rutranken and south of the well travelled path between the latter and Alphyzer is not very welcoming. Most people avoid them simply due to the fact that there is nothing there. Or at least they think, the only way in which the area has even been mapped is via satalight imaging, let alone explored.

If you plan to go in here, be sure to bring your hicking gear.

No New Posts Alphyzer City

Alphyzer is the only settlement in Hojanne which has risked taking huge industrial action so near a fragile Jenerater, so not many outsiders really trust the locals. However, that doesn't stop them coming to take advantage of the technological wonder of a City the place is.

With its own new Power Plant and many other features like automated walkways and some of the most advanced pollution contral systems on the planet, Alphyzer ain't that bad for the average tourist after all.

No New Posts Metastifa Forset

While the name is odd, there's a reason this place is named after the horror of any medical scinario. Like many large, spawling forests of the Pokemon world, Metastifa is HUGE and covers the northern half of the Krydon Island which is not mountainous like the south.

Due to the skinny 'waist' at the middle of the Isle, though, the only way to move from Aphyzer and Rutranken to the northern areas is either through here or by flying. However, once you're through the southern belt, feel free to take the rickity path along the island's west coast to the small town of Trencos.

No New Posts Trencos Town and Northern Provenience

Trencos is a medium sized town of average wealth. Cut off from the west of Hojanne by the immense forestlands to the south, the only way to get out of here without going back through there is to take a small ferry to Dracyliac Island, west across the Angalus Straight.

The main reason to visit this place though, is the Museum of The Ancients. It is the only place in Hojanne to have even a remotely believable natural history of the region, and is home to the world's largest lump of natural Dreanite Alloy-said to come straight from the deity Drayonza itself.

Strylight Island

Board Threads Posts Last Post
No New Posts Cape Milldren and Central Strylight

The only true sea-side town in Hojanne (Though most are on the coast due to the climate), Cape Milldren has a very productive fishmarket (No, you are not eating Pokemon! lol) and bazzar. Herb Loreists also find this place a profitable place to visit, but getting there is another matter entirely.

The majority of Strylight is vast canyon ranges, not to mention the imfamous, dried up River of Mist where many a traveller has gotten lost. If you head along the canyons walls of said river, you're likely to reach Aquitique, just don't go INTO the foggy 'river', because chances are that you wont come back out.

No New Posts Strylight Safari Zone

Located due east of the Cape, the Safari Zone is evrything you'd expect-a protected area where harming the wildlife is not allowed. However there is still Pokemon catching to do in the infamous Safari Game you were all expecting.

The reasoning for the Zone's odd placement is that there is a large, Tri-Pronged Jenerater smack bang in the middle of it. Being the only Jenerater on the smallest island of Hojanne, it has to be protected.

No New Posts The Lower Wilds

Once you begin to cross the central area of Strylight-and further away form the Safari Zone Jenerater-the scenery changes a fair bit. Large pillars of weathered stone rise out of the ground in Bluffs hundreds of metres above your head, and thick clusters of moss at their bases are almost all of the vegetation present. The River of Mist continues to flow through these parts, its nourishing waters no longer fueling the landscape.

No New Posts Aquticue Town-Strylight Isle

Although relatively far away from the Jenerater of Strylight, Aquticue and the south-eastern tip of the island is surprisingly fertile in comparison to the rest of the place. Located near the water collection of the dam on the River of Mist, this place is a paradise for water Pokemon lovers.

Hysquern Island

Board Threads Posts Last Post
No New Posts Dusckaden Point-Hysquern Ilse

A very gloomy place, not a very good first impression of the largest Island of Hojanne. It is just a small, superstisous town that would make even Stutali look like a big city mega-mall.
The deserted Bell Tower is a great place to look for goast pokemon, and an old ledgend speaks of a powerful pokemon living at the top...

No New Posts Beezle's Desert

Probably the reason for Duskaden's gloomy atmosphere, a weapons testing accident when Hojanne was still relativly 'new' resulted in this environmental disastor of what was once a fertile forest.

The grey and brownish ground is rock hard and cracked, the occasional dead tree can be seen sprouting up earily and not a living thing can bee seen in sight. Even Pokemon adapted to desert life are a raraty here.

In the distance, one can see the silloweete of a once proud Dual-Pronged Jenerator, sat next to the result of that weapons test.

No New Posts Silvern Cove and Windbreak Gorge

North of Beezle's Desert and east of the Uoral Ranges, Silvern Cove is a large contrast to the desolate area travellers were bound to come from. The second largest City in the region and proud of it, Silvern is an almighty hub for trade and just about everything else. It's cut off location is not problem, as it is right next to the sea and allows for communication and trade with regions all over the world.

In order to get there from the rest of Hojanne, one must either rent a plane or hike through the Windbreak Gorge linking it to the Desert. The Gorge is technically a coastal route, but the jagged mountain peaks reaching directly over people's heads and to the west give it that feel.

No New Posts Zuuhrii

Zuuhrii is nestled in the foothills of the Uoral Ranges, northwest enough of the Desert for grass to grow and trees to dot the landscape. It is an impressive sight, built into a natural rock formation jutting out of the ground as if forced upwards by a massive earthquake millions of years ago. This makes it very hard to reach from the groud except through a cave hidden by a waterfall. However, the waterfall is a well kept secret and is only known about by the locals. Speaking of the locals, the people of Zuuhrii are some of the few remaining citizens of Hojanne who still follow the ways of the Old Cizilisation... So... er, don't get creeped out by them, kay?

Zuuhrii also has a very unique Jenerater. It is underground and has two Prongs, 'growing' up a mine-like shaft which is shortly after the entrance cave.

No New Posts Uoral Mountain Ranges-Eastern Areas

The vast Uoral Ranges take up a huge amount of the northern half of Hysquern. Generally not inhabited due to there being greener pastures for humans to live in, the area contains secrets as numourous as the mountains themselves.

The Eastern and Western halves are divided by the first leg of Victory Road and the Pokemon League, with the largest of the lot, Mt. Jeroko, also being found in the eastern half of it.

No New Posts Lake Zythen and Surrounding Marshland

In Stark contrats to the desolate plains of Beezle's Desert, the marshes near Lake Zythen are lush and abound with life. Water flows in almost all direction from the Mountains, though all of it reachs the Ocean in the end.

South and slightly west of the lake, on a decently sized Peninsula is the only true military Fort in Hojanne, known as Torathu.

No New Posts Riverside Path

The Uoral Ranges to the north and Ocean to the south, there is only one, lush green path between Torathu and a popular Inn-slash-bar.

No New Posts The Rift Lodge

Sat in a faultline which defines the west and east areas of the Uoral Ranges, the Rift Lodge is a great place for anyone to hang out, whether they are about to embark through Victory Road or just want to get themselves druck silly.

No New Posts Victory Road

Directly north of The Rift Lodge is the small path through the middle of the Uoral Ranges which said Lodge is named after. The destination for many a trainer in Hojanne, it leads into the massive cave complex which must be navigated to reach the Pokemon League and Elimination Tournament.

Many a trainer has gotten lost in the final test before the league itself, though you could just fly over, if you're feeling both rich and slack.

No New Posts The Pokemon League

Located on one of the tallest flat-topped mountains in the Ranges, the Pokemon League of Hojanne is all you would expect of it: Massive arenas and stadiums, Towering buildings, a lush Trainer's Village and everything else you would usually see at a place which regularly held large scale tournaments.

Aside from the Annual Elimination Tourney, the League holds all sorts of smaller events from races to miniature battles in a confined space all year round, so it does not hurt to drop in from time to time.

No New Posts Uoral Mountain Ranges-Western Areas

The Western Half of the Mountains, these areas seem much more weathered than the Eastern Half, with pieces of brittle rock falling off on a regular basis-watch where you step!

Aside from the evident weathering, there are also many different Plateaus along the area, relatively safe havens in comparison to the rest of the rocky place. Their abuncance however, is a mystery, they are almsot is if someone took a giant sawblade and cut the tops of the mountains off.

The Bearing Sea

No New Posts Angalus Sea

The Angalus Sea and Strait are found in northwestern Hojanne, mainly between Krydon, Dracyliac and Hysquern Isles. It extends all the way to the Time-Space Wall.

No New Posts Dracyliac Island

A small Island off the east coast of Krydon and just west of the infamous Time-Space Wall, this is home to the main religious point on the Hojanne map-Sword Shrine.

There is a small Mono-Pronged Jenerater on the Island, therefore battling is prohibited on and around the the tiny landmass.

No New Posts The Time-Space Sector

No one knows how it got there, or for how long it has existed, but smake bang in the middle of Hojanne is a dragon shaped Island: Problem is, you can't get there no matter what. Massive, glowing walls of energy surround it on all sides, curving up and above it in a dome and reaching all the way down into the ocean floor.

Described as an annomally in time and space, the walls earned their name due to how they cause unexpected things to happen. Quite a lot of flotsam from different eras has poofed out of no where around these, including technologies so advanced it is beyond comprehension. Reverse engineering from these is partially responsable for Hojanne's status as one of the most advanced regions on the world.

No New Posts Delrandos Ocean

Mainly the area south of Hysquern and east of Strylight, the Delrandos Ocean streches far beyond Hojanne, to distant, unknown lands.

No New Posts Pheyron Island

In the Dalrandos Ocean, between Strylight and Hysquern, is an unusual little island. Though inhabited, no one really understands why there are so many fire type Pokemon here, especially since they are surrounded by the sea.
