A large crater spanning a few hundred metres in diameter sat in the dead (No pun intended) centre of Beezle's Desert. It was a result of a ill-fated weapons test, where a cruise missile went off course and blew up the area's Jenerator. The impact caused the tree like structure to completely shut down-and stop regulating the ebb and flow of the ecosystem. This disaster is the origin of the saying that a town with a dead Jenerater will be destroyed, as the surrounding region slowly rotted away as a result of the explosion.
Now the remains of the monolith are the only feature of the flat landscape, its dull and lifeless power cells a constant deterrent to anyone who would dare break the law of harming a Jenerater.
